Clutch Pushrod Help

The top push rod is for the stock clutch master cylinder.
The bottom is for a Howe Racing G3.

Ideally, I'd like to find a rod end to match the one on the stock rod (1/2" eye) that would thread onto the G3 (5/16 20), but I'm having a hard time finding one.

I'm also considering cutting the the stock rod in half to put the G3 washer on the rod then drilling and tapping both ends and re-connecting them a threaded rod.

The third option would be, as someone on this forum has already done, cutting the eye off the stock rod, braising it onto a threaded rod with a turnbuckle to match the G3 threads.

I'm partial to the first option.

Anyone have any idea where I could find a rod end with those specs?

Any other ideas are welcome.

Just wanted to update what I ended up doing. Basically I hacked the eye up to the round shaft off the stock push rod. Ground it round then tapped it to match the threads on the Howe MC.
