Wipers quit working

A few weeks back my wipers stopped working, I messed with the circuit breaker and they started working again. The other day they stopped working completely, I pulled the breaker and clean the contacts still nothing. The wierd part is that the washer function still works fine and the motors function then, but if i switch on the wipers while they are running on the washer function they stop wherever they are. Could there be a short in the switch?

Hey Dan. Those "multifunction switches" have been known to go bad.

Hey johnny do the off the shelf replacements they sell at auto parts stores work? I really want to fix it ASAP, I have a live in job up in Forest Falls and can only fix it on the weekends and want to fix it before the weather comes in.
