ok 96 xj i6 auto. been running fine. left for work in morning sputterd and died. pulled it home drove other xj. got home and the 96 started just fine,drove it for an hour nothing wrong. tried to drive it next morning died in almost same spot. pulled it home ,no luck on restart that night. changed the cps but still doesnt start the same and afraid to drive it. thought i would test cps 4.85 was the reading i got with the ohms meter. tested old cps wouldnt even give a reading. what should good #s be. alldatapro says infinite resistance. it will run but has a stutter to it. any thoughts?????:speepin: and ive been searchin for about 4 days now on here with no answer to my problem.
