I have a crack in a brake line of my 2000 XJ 4.0; it's on the driver's side. I have a pic below with the line outlined and where the crack in the line is. I have been on quadratec trying to figure out which one it is, to no avail. Can anyone chime in and shed some light on this for me? Thanks so much!!!

With or without ABS?

LHD or RHD?

LHD without ABS:

5212 8381 Proportioning Valve to Front Left

This is likely a dealer item.

You can buy steel brake line and roll your own, but you will need flaring tools and tubing bender.

It's LHD, I honestly didnt think cars these days came without ABS, I would have to look into that or just take it to the dealer

RHD (2wd & 4wd) with ABS:

52009 079AB HCU to Front, Left

52009 078AB HCU to Front, Right

You should take it to a dealer/shop capable of working on Chryco ABS brakes.

Have you considered checking the local Auto Recyclers (JY) ?
This brakeline should be the same for the model years of 97-01; and possibly back to as early as '91.
