Why doesn't #4 injector tick?

I've noticed that when idling each injector, when touched, ticks in rhythm slightly. All of mine tick but I can barely feel #4. Anything to worry about?
Idle sounds fine. Am I worrying about nothing or is there something to this?

try unplugging spark plug #4 and see if your idle changes at all.

if it doesn't, there is a problem... if it gets worse, you're probably alright.
 
Yep, or you can pull the connection off the injector. Pull it off, idle should get a bit rougher, put it back on, idle should return. You'll likely generate a misfire code when you do.
 
good point... that'll wake you up in a hurry :shocked:

<chuckle> A buddy of mine was trying to figure out what an old Chevy C60 straight truck wasn't starting. Monstrous engine bay with a big block motor, he's inside, sitting on the fender well. He pulls a spark plug boot, and has his helper crank the engine over. He then found out that his jeans were just a little thin in one rather important location.
