reinstalling factory fender flares after trimming*********

The previous owner of my XJ removed the factory fender flares and cut and trimmed the wheel wells. My question is, has anyone tackled the task of reinstalling their flares after a cut and trim? Pictures would be appreciated.

I've done them many way's but this is the way I like best. I mount the flares with long self tappers, then remove them one at a time and drill out the holes to except a 5/16 carriage bolt.

The rears are difficult to attach with out bolting them on, the fronts are easy though. I have about 30 minutes per side to do my fronts like this using the facotry mounts with new holes...
