Pitman Arm Bushing, take a look

Its the tie rod end that looks like theres grease and dirt all over it. It looks to me that your bushing may not be of any use anymore allowing dirt to enter. Grease it at the zerk or zurk (cant spell) fitting then have someone steer left and right as you check to see if there is any play or not. If there is play, toss it.

It appears that they are not gay -- in any case, I think they would prefer the term queer.

i would post the pic but deviant art is gay and doesnt allow remote hosting , for me at least
First there is no pitman arm bushing. That's the Tie Rod End (TRE) that connects to the pitman arm. It looks like it's been over greased and perhaps has a bad rubber boot. Clean it up, check for play when you turn the wheel and if desired remove it and install a new boot.

i meant rubber boot haha. sorry
