first off its not for my jeep.
i have a 44/4.88s/ detroit in the rear.
my unlce can get a c clip lockrite/ 2 sprung under yj axles with shafts and brakes/ for almost free
but we dont want to mess with the sprung under yj axles since we dont have a welder to reweld the perches
plus one has bad spiders, the other one has bad ring and pinion.
i already know its retarded to lock a 35.
i figure he is only running 31s and alot of guys run 31s and a lockright.
personally,.... i wouldnt....
but he is broke. and he has spare shafts( i do have some spare 35 shafts, non c clip)
he has the older style semi floating 35( non c clip 35)
has anyone ever swapped in the c clip locker in the non c clip 35
the part number is 2311s2 for the c clip
the non c clip is 2310s2
just wondering if the only difference is a little slit to get the c clips out?
blondejon
go ahead and flame away about locking a 35 too. i dont care. i know its stupid, but he is too broke and its basically free....and he only wheels the jeep...
