Details on location of blower motor resistor?

Got a 97, blower only works on high - got the replacement resistor, stuck my head under the passenger side behind the glove compartment to find this thing, can't see it anywhere. Is there any cover or panel that needs to be removed first?

Thanks,

Mark

There is a cover panel that needs to be removed on the bottom right of the dashboard. If you look around the left side of the cover, you'll be able to see it hiding there. And not to insult you, but make sure you don't touch the metal on the new resistor. Enjoy your heat.

Like touching high output lamps--skin oils can cause premature failure.

Got to it - thanks for the info! FL without AC in July can be interesting.... Not the end of the world, but it makes you realize there is a reason they invented air conditioning and installed it in vehicles.

Thanks again,

Mark
