XJ Lifted Steering question

We put a TeraFlex 8 inch long arm lift on my 2000 XJ last week end and now the point where the drag link meets the tie rod is hitting the bottom of the sway bar, any ideas?

Happened to me too. Sollution is to cut a notch about 3/4 of the way through the top of the sway bar bracket on the axle, use a hammer to bend the end of the bracket up enough to clear the steering linkage and weld up the notch. Make sence? I don't have any pics. This only works if you have adjustable swaybar links because the passenger link will be shorter than the drivers.

Or start over with these http://store.jksmfg.com/merchant2/m...0_915&Store_Code=JKS01&Category_Code=FABParts or these http://www.jcroffroad.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=SWYBR&Category_Code=DPL

the real solution at that height would be highsteer. but an aftermarket steering setup is in order. stock steering cries at 8" of lift

with all that height, I would assume at least 35" tires are in order. it would probably be in your best interest to start researching some stronger axle swaps as well, instead of dumping money into the 30
