[FONT=verdana, arial, helvetica]Anyone have any ideas as to why I have lost some power all of a sudden? I have a 93 XJ 4.0L i6 HO, and I have always never surged, or had a problem with horsepower. But now, when I floor it, it revs and revs and revs (which seems to eternity) then finally shifts to the next gear. When I do floor it and let it rev, it does nothing to move the truck up in speed. The tranny shifts great and the diffs are good (no noises).
My question are these:::: What would be causing this??
Could it be a vaccum problem which does not allow proper shifting??
Also, any insight into this would be most welcome, as I mostly drive on the highway, and need all the power I can get!!!!
