ok i am sofa king we todd ed! hasta
i cant remember which unit bearings match which brake rotors.
i have a HP D30 & killed another unit bearing. don't know what year the axle is but my heeps a 2000 sport so it is not the stock axle.

can someone school me on unit bearing year / part number identification?

the difference is in the "hat" height.
It is also possible to use the new bearings on an old axle, so whomever swapped in the HP housing may have transfered the 2000 bearings and brakes to it.

Your best bet is to go the parts store, take the old one with you and a ruler. Measure a renix era bearing and the 97+ bearing and figure out which year yours are. Somewhere around here the "hat" measurements are listed, but I'm too laxy to search right now.
