Removing leaf from 4.5" pack to lower it

I have RC 4.5" leafs under my XJ at the moment, and will be installing shackle relocation brackets and 1.5-2" shackles. I don't want to gain much/any lift, so could I take a leaf out of the leaf pack to keep it at the same height?

you should be fine taking a leaf out, thats what i did when the axle i bought had a one inch lift block welded on the spring perch

I want a longer shackle so I can use the full travel of 14" travel shocks.

What leaf should I remove?
