More clearance !

Hello,

Posted this at Cherokee forum.
Cut the front and rear bumbers for more clearance.
Cut and reinforced the rear quarters with removeable quarter skids, kind of like a rocker skid.

looks good. Any worries about bending the leaf spring bushing mounts? I don't see any springs in those pics. Are you running coilovers?

No worries about the leaf spring pockets, went to triangulated coil link years ago.

I did run a sleeve in the pocket so the bolt is going into the weld nut in the body and pinching the outer flange of the pocket onto the sleeve.
As if there were a leaf spring bushing, if the pocket is strong enough to support the leaf spring pack and suspension of the jeep, it will do fine for the quarter skid.
