Front DS Question???

I have been having this rattle right under my shifter, I got underneath today to see if I could figure it out. The only thing that I could find that would loose or make any type of noise was my front DS. It moves up and down slighty but it seems like the part that rattles a little is in the TC. I can put my hand on the back of the TC directly behind where the TC ends and feel it.. Is that normal???

Looks like everything is bolted on correctly. It happens when I am stopped, seems like the rattle travels through the DS to TC. If I hit the DS with my hand I can hear it. But like I said in my original post I can feel it in the back of the TC.

T-case rattle at idle is most commonly caused by failed bushings in the 4x4 shifter.

Try this: put pressure on the t-case shift lever and see if the noise goes away. If it does you need to install the kit for the shifter, kit is part number 45 here: http://www.jeep4x4center.com/jeep-transfer-case/np-231-parts.htm
