just some helpful info to pass along. I picked up a booster, master and proportioning valve for 97 - 01 xj on ebay for $20. I did a lot of research and everything I found said it would not work due to a different rod. I cut a 7/8" section of rod out sleeved it with a piece 3/8" id tube and tacked it together. with the rod shortened it was a bolt in. No other rod or pedal mods only had to mount washer bottle 1" forward with a couple of self drillers. hopefully this info will help someone
