88 XJ Dana 30 Leak

1988 XJ Dana 30 front axle with Posi-Lock. The passanger side front axle seal is leaking. I know i have to pull the axle but can the seal be replaced through the posi-lock or do i have to pull the carrier?

the seal can be replaced through the shift fork (posi-lok) on the disconnect 30's; there is no inner seal at the carrier on disco 30's.
