Another pinon angle thread...

I finally got around to measuring my pinion after letting my OME leafs settle for about 5 months. With my sye and currently installed 2.5* shims, i'm getting about 7* on the diff yoke and about 12* on the driveshaft....so i'm assuming my pinion is off? I get vibes from about 65mph on up...

What do i need to do to fix the angle to an appropriate degree??

since you have a SYE, you need the pinion to be 1-2 degress below the driveshaft angle. so you need another 3-4 degrees

6 degree shim should have you fall between 1-2 degrees below the driveshaft angle
