Yes. Windshield is just the same. If you can, use the later style rubber rather than the metal trim and you'll save yourself some trouble and probably some wind noise. Some people recommend that you break or cut off the little metal studs used to hold the old trim in if you do this, but I had success fitting a later windshield and trim onto an 87 without removing the studs.

That is what I wanted to do, use the newer trim. I have a few chips and a small crack in my windshild so this is the info I needed.
