rear tow hooks

Never seen them. Why not just do a hitch?

Yea, that looks like the puppy, here is one installed in my 98

I've since replaced it with a Tomken rear bumper with 2" receiver built into it.
If you do buy it you will also need the insert plate that goes into the frame rail unless you already have a skid plate back there and the nut plate is already in place.

I stand corrected.

I removed my bumper to make it easier to install the nut strips.

Go with a hitch, its a lot stronger than that thing, and plus, you can tow a boat or anything else with it. I have one of those metal reciever carriers and its great taking wood and everything else out onto the beach with.

A friend of mine ordered these and hasn't gotten them yet. It's been a couple weeks. I've read good things about them.

They look interesting, wonder how the side stresses are, the factory front ones are kinda weak and would twist even worse if they did not have the cross bracingl, limited that it is, that they have.

I for sure feel that good bumpers with built in tow points, for shackles, are the way to go. I went with the tomken rear with built in receiver and use that for my rear now. My front is the factory hook kit I added a month after I got it. Thats going to be replaced with a JCR front bumper as soon as I get some extra money.
