Ok I give up how do I get these off worked it self loose, I bust one of the Torx bolt on hatch side. It rattles it's annoying help.

you want to remove the hatch hinges from the body on your 89 (guessing)?
remove the trim panel off the cargo roof (you need to loosen the D pillar panels to get it off), then remove the nuts on the ceiling that hold the hinge bolts

Nope hinges off the hatch

trim the sides and then use vice grips to turn them out?

Maybe but I need to remove a set with out harm from jy aswell
