parking lights??

1991 xj 4.0 auto, i replaced all bulbs and have checked all fuses! all lights work, just recently when i turn on my head lamp switch the front and rear parking lamps dont work in unison! but DO come on when i hit my hazards, blinkers ect.. any idea of a ground or lil black realay i dont know about, my Chiltons book doesnt tell about any of the relays, i know there are couple under the dash/steering wheel.. or some thing goin to the black box unde the rear seat??

What happens when you pull the headlight switch on one click? Two makes the headlights come on, right? Not talking about blinkers or hazards, just one click on the headlight switch.

it does nothing at all! argh..
