I'm replacing the indicator switch in my 231. I've searched and can't find if I need to put any sealant on the threads of the switch. Is it good to install dry, or do i need something on it?

Thanks. You would think companies wouldn't be so cheap and give you a o-ring with the switch. So there should be one on the old switch. Think I could reuse it if its in good shape, or should I track a new one down.

Well, if it was really hard to get to I would track down a new one, but something like this I would just reuse it if there are no nicks/worn areas on it. Use a little petroleum jelly for installation.
