Looking at a Cherokee with 2 problems

I am looking at a 2000 Cherokee 4x4. The owner says that the cruise control doesn't work because someone broke into the car in the past and messed up the steering column (the column has been replaced).

The second problem is that when you use the driver's side electric lock to unlock all of the doors, it will lock them all.

Do you see these as easy fixes? I have been out of the Jeep loop for 5 years and am getting back.

these are electrical problems. how does the jeep perform otherwise, and what shape is it in? if your not looking at complete mechanical breakdown then...

is the price worth it?


as for the specific problems, i have no knowledge of remedying them. but thats just how id look at buying another vehicle.

What is cruise control and what are electric locks? If that is all thats wrong with it big deal, you don't NEED either one.
