Leaf spring bushings not centered... is that a problem?

I got some used 6.5" Clayton leaf springs with rubber bushings. The larger bushing that will mount towards the middle of the jeep are not centered in the middle of the eye. Is that going to be a problem, or will it not matter? I just don't want it to be making unnecessary contact with the metal on the unibody frame. Let me know what you think. Here's a pic to show what I mean:

looks shady to me, I'd center it, the spring will rub the mount and either wear through it in time, worst case scenario, or just make a decent squeak.

I got some used 4.5" RE leafs and they were the EXACT same...no probs for me.

x1000,it will wear thru.

So what can I do about it? Since it's rubber, will I be able to press it in there better with a press or bench vice, or am I just out of luck?
