Best place for light switches (Rockers)

I got some new ARB switch covers in red from here: http://www.otrattw.com/
When I called to give them my credit card number, the guy was super nice and even ended up kicking in a free switch cover tool so I wouldn't break my old ones taking them off. They have a great selection of carling style switches.

yeah, Mouser also... sometimes better selection and pricing. You can get a catalog from digikey or mouser for free.

I am looking to get some light switches for the jeep. I found this place but they are not accepting $$ ???

Do you guys know of any others?

Chris

I have heard stories about those switches not lasting more than a couple months.

I will be ordering mine from here:
http://order.waytekwire.com/cgi-bin...50+FUNCPARMS+WEBCMP(S0020):01+WEBID(S0020):01

I dont want to pay $12 per switch when I can buy the exact same switch without the fancy cover for $5.

Other ideas about where to buy them and where to mount switches here:

If you want it to look pretty, go with OTRATTW.com. He has a great selection of Carling switches and rockers and offers great customer service to boot. May cost a couple bucks more than the generic ones, but hey, what's a couple of bucks over the lifetime of your XJ when they look nice and help you remember which switch does what when you have a bunch of them mounted together.

Yeah, those are great and all, but if you've need 6-8 switches, you're gonna have to drop $100!!

As to the original question, I believe DelCity.net carries the Carling Switches too.

Are the OTRATTW switches dual lighted? Meaning they have a light go on when the lights are on, and when the switch is on?

Arnt the ARB switches like that? Im trying to find some Carling Contura switches that are like that on WayTek and not finding anything.

Yes,the switches from OTRATTW are Carling Contura's and yes they have dual lighting.

(Almost) all of OTRATTW's switches are dual lighted. Be aware though that they sell them in two different lighting configurations. The ARB lighting configuration ties the small lower light into the dash light (dimmer) circuit and turns on the big upper light when you activate the switch. OTRATTW's switch description will actually state "Uses the same light configuration as the ARB switches".

They also sell them exactly opposite with the big light tied into the dimmer circuit and the small light tied into switch activation. I wouldn't recommend them as the big upper light is pretty bright at night, especially if they are in your line of sight.

Since I dont want to pay $12 per switch what are they called at other places?

Waytek has Single Pole, Double Pole, Single throw, double throw switches, but I cant find any that are Single Pole, Single Throw, with dual lights.
