quick axle question

i recently bought a HP44 / 60FF combo from another fourm, when i was moving the 60 i noticed that both shafts would turn the same direction.

So my question is did they ever put factory lockers in 1978 f250's??

Pop it open and find out what's in there - could be welded, spooled, posi, etc...

Could easily have been a limited slip.
