AW4 Speed sensor

My check engine light keeps comming back on with the following code: P0715 Input/Turbine Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction. It drives fine, just shifts a little late. Is this http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php?catalog=903&partnum=5S476 4&a=FR903-5S4764 the correct sensor to replace to fix the problem and can it be done without dropping the tranny?

Not sure, as the description says Vehicle Speed Sensor which would be the output sensor but it looks like the right sensor. It's one bolt to remove from the outside. Drivers side, forward, about midway up. I'd have a good look at the wiring first as that's a unusual sensor to fail.
