Window teeth replacement

I'm pretty sure the teeth on the thingy that holds the window and moves up and down on the spiral bit are broken. I think this because the window will kind of catch and then slide back down and I can feel it vibrate. Does anyone make replacements for these?
 
I remember someone posted a replacement with metal teeth, so the problem wouldn't happen again, I just can't for the life of me find that damn thread!
