was looking thru pic and started looking over someones rear coil swap.

most rear swaps have 4 arms like a 4 link that goes to the frame.

so now my question is why cant a radius arm style work? with a trac bar?
has anyone done it?

I believe most people do a triangulated four-link in the rear to eliminate the need for a trac bar. As I have not done this mod, I'm not 100% sure about that, but I think I remember reading about it. This should be an interesting thread.

The problem is finding room to mount the track bar and miss the frame, and get the track bar long enough. If you want to get some idea of suspension geometry with a rear radius arm, search around on a Land Rover forum.

Check out the latest episode of trucks, they just did and explained the 4 link rear set up, they also did an Army deuce and half project, and made the rear suspension a 4 link.. Really excellent piece and explanation of the set up and why they went that way.. You should be able to find the episode online
