242 problems

I have just installed non disconnect 30 with a EZ locker and it seems like the part time side of the 242 is stayin engaged. It was fine when I first installed but after about 1000 miles it starting to act like the t case is tryin to engage going down the road or sharp turns. Any input to what might be going on?

Start by adjusting your transfercase linkage, if that doesn't fix it then try removing the front driveshaft and going for a drive, if the problem is still there then it is probably a problem with the front axle or the characteristics of the locker.

What is the condition of your tires and alignment. 242 will lock into 4wd if there is as little as 1/4" difference in the diameters, Front to rear right to left. If the alignment is off it can lock-up. Front auto lockers, like you have, are known to cause this problem. Selectable lockers are recommended with the 242. Linkage adjustment as noted, also.
