Question .....

About 4 months ago i recently replaced my stock coil and leaf springs. Yet im not satisfied and want a lil bit more clearance. I was looking in the trail master budget which has big shackles in the rear. My friend said that big shackles are no good being it can screw up your rear end,driveline in the long run. And i've heard Add a leafs are no good either . Being i don't wanna mess up my new leaf springs. Any opinions ?

You could use shackle relocation boxes, though as long as you don't go with REALLY huge shackles, it may actually help. Heavily arched leaf springs such as lift springs require a longer shackle to flex fully - how much lift did you get from the springs?

It was just a stock replacement spring

Ok, on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being 1", and 10 being 10", how much more clearance will satisfy you?
