OK, It has been said that by using an MJ shackel on your XJ you will lift the rear, can you use the XJ shackel to lower an MJ? or will the shorter shackel not reach the frame hole? Just curious if anyone knows this about leaf springs. I do not. thanks, Andrew

I dont know why it wouldnt but your only going to drop about 1/2 in and rotate your pinion down just a hair (small fine blonde hair)

it will work to lower an MJ about 1/2 inch. if you want any more than that, lowering blocks are simple, effective, and not bad for the springs quite like lift blocks are.
