i was wondering if the timing chain was loose and jump timing could that affect the compression? and how can i correct that problem when i get the new timing chain! thank you

For sure one tooth will mess up your compression, but just a loose chain wont because the tensioner should be working unless that is bad as well. Have you checked your compression though?
