vacuum canister?

I was working in the bumper area today and happened to disconnect the vacuum line coming out of the vacuum caniter. It is still plugged into the canister but I cannot for the life of me find where it plugs into. Any help is appreciated. This is on a 98 cherokee 4.0 ac, cruise. Thanks.

So, you have the vacuum reservoir, a line coming out of it and running up towards the battery area where at some place it is disconnected?

The the vacuum hardline that runs past the battery.

Yes, it is that line. When I pulled the bumper off I never thought about dissconnecting that hose, well it come off with the resivoir. I never knew where it came from. Well to find out, it went up by the battery and was supposed to plug in, but it was plugged off already. So it had been unplugged and the vacuum line reconnected. All is good.

Not replacing the bumper, installing a front hitch.

ah ok. glad you gettin recovery gear hooked up.
