Lifting a 98 XJ

i am looking at lifting my xj a little more. I was told i could use dodge 1500 leaf springs. Just reverse them around. Was told it would set me a 5.5-6" of lift. Has anyone ever done this or have ever heard of this??? I heard the info from a guy that heard it at WF last year from a guy that was in a reddish color xj. I have a set of dodge leafs just want info b4 i tryed to put them under the jeep.

I haven't heard of this yet. Would be pretty sweet if it works, but I'd expect your rear suspension would be as stiff as a dump truck's with 1500 leafs?

Robert, I bet they are too long to be a direct swap. You may be able to use all but the main leaf to get some lift. The most popular options are S-10 or Dakota Leafs to make a bastard pack.

Ill have to have some one help me with a bastard pack. I dont know how to make one. I found on here where some one but a bunch of info on how to use this and that.. But i dont understand.
