custom overhead console?

Has anyone made a custom overhead console for their XJ? I bought a stock one at a JY and was going to install, but the darn thing has no storage space and I don't need a clock/thermometer/compass.

I tried looking through the junk yard for other vehicles w/ OHCs that could be adapted for use in the XJ, but had no luck. I want to have enough overhead storage for my wallet, cell, etc.

Any ideas?

ZJ and Chryco minivans use a very similar console. There are a few threads on the subject if you search a bit.

Yeah, I know there are many threads on similar/ interchangable consoles. However, this is not what I am asking about. I want one w/ more storage space. Thanks for the reply, though. I guess.
