OK, the stock stuff has given up the ghost after 20 years... I need everything... All the ball joints are sloppy and the tie rod is bent.

I'd love to get the Currie system but this axle is destined for the dumpster when my HP44 is ready to go in. I see no reason to spend $$$ on upgrades to my dana turdy. but the XJ is my DD for now so it's gotta be fixed.

The local parts stores can't get all the parts...

Any ideas?

Get the whole setup at a local pick-a-part or u-pull salvage yard. Should be under $20.

All years of xj, zj and tj up to 2003 should fit. Some of the zj v8 steering stuff is much heavier duty.

Make sure to get it off a newer jeep so the chances of good joints are better.

a buddy of mine is prototyping bumpers and stuff on a v8 grand cherokee... i'm going to try and talk him out of his steering.

THANKS FOR THE TIPS!!!
