shock length chart???

ok, i relocated the rear shock mounts to the center of my axle housing when i installed my shackle relocation brackets.
my junk is 5.5" re lift (i think?) now i need to buy shorter shocks but cant seem to figure out which to buy. most shocks i see for sale are sold by lift, not by min / max length, so i don't know which to buy.
how much up & how much down travel do i need? :wierd:
it is really fun (not!) driving the rig with no rear shocks!

Most shock manufactures have a chart of the collapsed and extended lengths of their products. You can usually access it from their website. Flex the suspension and measure.
