What would cause a wet seat belt? My drivers side door seat belt gets wet and it stinks really bad. It olny does it when i wash under my jeep or it rains real hard for a long time.. I have olny one leak and its at the firewall and it cant be whats causing it.

Does anyone have any idea what i could look for other than taking apart the side where the belt goes in.

not sure about modified tech... but no sunroof... if the roof rack holes leaked woud the headliner be wet too?

Water can follow some strange paths. And likes to cling to surfaces. I would bet on the roof rack holes. Unless you have some other rust holes near there.

I'm with winterbeater on this. Your seat belt makes and excellent "wick" for the moisture to follow.

how do i check to see if the roof is leaking with out taking the headliner off?

Use reciprocating saw to cut an access hole in the roof. Check for moisture.
