old auto starter

doing all this light work i noticed this black box that has these real skinny wires coming out of it it also conects to this yellow box that sits on under the dash next to the int. wiper module i noticed that between the twp boxes that it connects to my ignition by splicing into the ignition wire and adding i 5amp fuse I want to take this mess out because it makes the my wires a night mare what should i do to get this out i remember pyrothugg saying that if i cut that box out i will not be able to start my jeep

Pop out the 5 amp fues and see what happens.

And study your wiring diagrams to figure out what all that stuff is.
