winch?

Has anyone heard any pro's/con's about this winch? I need something cheap, but reliable, I would only need to use it very rarely, so that is why I want something cheaper then a warn or anything like that. http://www.quadratec.com/products/92122_1000_07.htm or....

My buddy has had one on his cj7 for 2 years and loves it its the old model i bought smittybuilt few weeks ago and havent got it mounted yet..

xrc8 is a descent winch. i have the 10 and love it.

I have the XRC 8 and it's awesome little slow on the line speed department thats all. Just recently added the amsteel blue winch rope to it to lighten it up but besides that it's great.

I have the XRC10. It's kinda slow but it works. I've used it to load a dead Chevy on 39s onto a trailer with no ramps, pull a Prius out of some sand, and just this weekend assist in extracting a very stuck Super Duty diesel from some pretty thick, deep, goopy mud. I bought synthetic line for it and am pretty happy with it's performance so far.

whatever you decide to get you should cover it if you keep it on the outside of your vehicle
