Steering locking up

Not real sure whats going on. I have an 87 XJ with a D44 that was swaped in with a ez locker. Everyonce in while you flex the suspension the steering will lock up. I have looked every where but I dont see anything wrong. Anyone ever had this happen?
Thanks for any help

Could you take some pictures of the steering when it is stationary and flexed out?
Something could be gettting caught or binding.
Since you are mentioning a D44 I'm assuming you put one in the front because the rear shouldn't have anything to do with the steering.

Flex it out so it locks up and see if the manifolds are sitting on the steering shaft.

This could be just that the stock steering pump and box just can't handle the added stress of a flexed out suspension. Mine will not turn if the tire is bound up on something.
