96+ 242 SYE

I have searched high and low for definite answers about this but the only answers I can find are for pre 96's and 231's. Now, I just bought the 3103-27CV yoke for use on my 98 with a 242. Will this work? Is all I have to do is cut of an inch of the output shaft and bolt the yoke on? How does it seal? Will the yoke fit the seal?

The seal is inside the t-case,the yoke you described will fit fine.

The 98' has an external slip yoke, essentually like a pre 96' with a SYE seal kit already on it. You just cut, and bolt.
