I have a 1998 Classic with 4.0 and AW4 auto. 3 days ago the check engine light came on. Took it to Autozone this morning and they read the code P1493. The clerk told me that means an air leak somewhere. Anyone got any ideas where to look?

Thanks

Look for a auto parts store where the counter staff are not morons.

P1493 (M) Ambient/Batt Temp Sensor Volts Too Low. Battery temperature sensor input voltage below an acceptable range.

The temp sensor under your battery has a bad connection or needs to be replaced.
