Is it any wonder people can't keep track of this mess?

The GAO published a report last year. They came up with 13000+ felonies at the Federal level alone. They couldn't be more specific, because they couldn't figure out if they counted them them all or not. Yes, the Government Accounting Office can't tell you how many ways you can screw up at the Federal level.

I think this has more to do with the Independence of the 50 states, the law in Illinois no cell phone/texting was implemented here (to some degree) last year. North Carolina's new smoking law has been here for a while too. The alternative is big brother who controlls everything...
