Ok everyone,
I had posted a while back trying to find out common problems with this jeep reguarding wiring and someone had mentioned the TPS as being a common problem for not shifting after a engine washdown,
Well Replaced it this morning, I am just unsure what to be looking for to adjust it properly.
I placed the new TPS in the same position " or as close as I could eyeball it"
test drove it and its finally shifting! Thanks btw for whoever said that was the problem.
I've still got some other stuff yet to complete prior to the snow, now I gotta replace the U joints on the front, "fun fun" pun intended...
So the big one, minus having a scantool available, is there an easy way to know if the TPS is set close enough to being "right on".
Thanks
