Hella 500's + 6000k HID's (Pics and video)

While back I swapped my 500's to 6000k HID's (ebay specials.) Finally got around to posting the final product for you all to see. I never found anything like this while I was researching the HID upgrade, so hopefully this helps someone.

My headlights are autopal lenses with hella "optilux xenon" 80/100 bulbs with 10 gauge wiring upgrade

Heres a video, starting from about 10 feet from a wall, reversing away. The one HID never starts the first time for some reason. I thought it was just sensitive to voltage but bringing the RPM up doesnt always do it

for the flicker... run your negatives all the way back to the negative battery terminal, not just chassis ground.

Indeed, regular bulbs, hella 80/100's though.
