Front Sway Bar Links

So I know the Torx stud is a 55...but is it welded in place or pressed in? I am trying to replace the torx stud and nut with a standard nut and bolt for ease of disconnect on my DD/weekend wheeler. Has anyone gotten them out? I am hesitent to buy quick disco's or sawzall the studs!:dunno:

Pressed in, it's splined. Pop it out with a gear puller and some heat.

It's just pressed in. On some years it's also splined, and others it's smooth. If it didn't twist when you removed the nut it's probably splined (they turned out on my 91). You can get a pittman arm puller and press it out
