Installed used transmission new codes

I have codes 743,753 checked connections and cleaned plugs, reset ran for 15 miles then came on again. Was running rough and wanted to stall when the engine light was off. Once the light came on it ran a lot better.

What are the possible causes?

What year trans did you install?
 
Not sure what year.

I just found a link to an AW4 shop manual.

I'll see if I can find any thing to help in there.
 
Well the 2000's have an additional sensor,which means if you installed a pre-2000 you will get a CEL/codes.
